2 yr old Yorkie- HELP to potty trian! Please!

I have a 2 yr old yorkie. He is the sweetest thing you have ever seen. 
He's only problem is he poops in the house (never outside) and pees inside too. He will run in circles and let me know he needs to go potty, and I take him. He go out smells around, pees, then just runs around. He will not listen to me when I call for him, until I walk up to him , then he stops. Well, I guess I have two problems. Haha. We have always taken him outside on a leash, but we have been trying to see if he will go out without one and come back. (not working so well) So, we are back to the leash. He sleeps in the bed with us, and does great during the night. It is during the day that he has his accidents. We are putting our house up for sale in a few days, and I'm not sure how he is going to do. I am worried about him getting out. If I put him in his crate, I'm afraid he will cry all day and make himself sick. I'll take any help I can get! Thanks Alot,

 | Kissy is 9 mos. old and has done pretty good going to potty outside and not inside,you just have to be consistent and not give up.My problem is Kissy thinks being the lil' princess she is that she is too good to touch the grass so she goes on my very large porch because thats better than that yucky old grass that she hates to touch.I can't always be out with her to make sure she goes in the grass so thats where she goes.BUT....she is house broke! |

| |  We have two yorkies and the older one is having a problem with peeing inside while the other one goes outside. I continuously tell them go potty outside when I take them out on their leashes. |

| | They say that Yorkies can be one of the stubborn and hardest to train so try this method.Feed your dog at the same time every day,give him 30 minutes to eat,then take him out and be patient and give him time to go.Keep him on a schedule just like you would a baby.Around 8:00pm,don't let him have anything else to eat or drink until the next day but take him out before bedtime.If you keep him on a schedule,it shouldn't be long before he is used to a schedule.Eat,go out,play.Good luck and don't give up! |
