When do yorkies get their tales docked? How many days old do they have to be, and what is the oldest they can be? I've searched on-line for an answer to this question, but I am told that many vets no longer do this because it is a form of animal cruelty... is this true? I have two yorkies, both have their tails docked, but this is how I purchased them... is it true this is cruel?

	don't know as mine were two..but Someone must know and a lot of purebred dogs have docked tails like dobermans. My 2 can docked also one just a stub and one about a inch long left on it. I know afreiend who is a breeder and I wil ask him?? O.K. will let you know his answer
