Thor's New Year's Resolutions
I didn't officially own Thor until January 15th, 2009. Even in the past month, I've seen some major improvements in his behavior. I figure I have New Year's Resolutions, Thor should have some too!
Current accomplishments:
1. He knows how to play fetch!
2. "Come"
3. He knows Sit, Down, Up, and Touch.
4. He can be left alone for hours without freaking out.
5. He isn't afraid to be kissed anymore.
What I'd like Thor to have accomplished by July 15th:
1. FULL HOUSE TRAINING. Bell, outside, puppy pad, whatever, just no more pee on my rugs! Also, no off-pad peeing at my workplace.
2. "Stay"
3. At least one trip to doggy daycare.
4. At least one real play session with another dog.
5. "Shake" hands.
6. "High Five"
After a full year (January 15):
7. "Heel" on command.
8. Some doggy friends.
9. Lose fear of skate boards.
10. No chasing bikers or skaters.
11. Allow me to brush his teeth without acting like he's being skinned alive.
12. "Drop It" / "Take It" / "Leave It" - he kind of knows these, but I want them solid.
