Please HELP!!! I am so new at this!!

I have a yorkie and she is 61 days pregnant today! Last night I had to go to my sons wrestling tournament and I didn't want to leave Gracie unattended so I made my 15 year old daughter stay with her. For the past 2 days she has been really whiny and won't let me out of her sight! I was feeling very anxious about leaving her so once I got to the school I called my daughter and told her to go check on her and she starts freaking out telling me she's having her puppies!! I rush home of course to find she passed something like a greenish, blackish thing but I didn't see it but I saw the very small amount of stuff it left behind.
I don't know what it was honestly! So I thought she was going to have the puppies but as of today she has still not had the puppies but keeps digging and whining and is VERY restless!! Please tell me what is going on because I have no clue!!! I called the vet and really got no straight answers!!!
