I bought 2 puppies a male and female and guess what ....My female has kidney disease and my boy has a liver shunt. I know have to prepare myself to loose them. I paid the breeder $5000.00 for the dogs and they both came to my house with a terrible cough.My vet bill is over 2000 dollars as of today and im not done..... This breeder lives in south dakota and she is willing to replace the dogs...with what two more unhealthy puppies. Shouldnt she know liver shunts are genetic and you dont give a dog gentimicin for a cough...it kills the kidneys.. what do I do??? need advise. I have already called akc and bb....My heart is broken.
