I need a little bit of help please

Hi,
I have a little yorkie who is now 8 months old. She just had her very first heat (well about 2 weeks ago) I tried to watch her very carefully however while I was working one day my dad got a new dog (a brittany?) and he is not fixed and has run around trying to hump my lil baby every since he got to our home. Well anways I did not think they had been together because she has run away from him every chance she got but now all of the sudden her nipples are very swollen and she has large lumps under every nipple. I am very worried that she is pregnant and way to young. We are going to the vet Monday to get fixed but I am worried that it is to late. Please help me if you have gone through this. Thank you!

 |  If it was just a couple weeks ago, getting her fixed now should be just fine. It may be better for her to end the pregnancy now because she is so young. Not too many of us read the blogs on YorkieTalk often. If you click "forums" on the top right of your screen and ask your questions there, you will get more responses.  |

| |  Sashas nipples did the same thing after her first heat. we were at my sisters and she had a puppy who was trying to sasha but he was too young and sasha was never left alone with him. When she was he was in his crate. So i know she wasnt pregnant. Plus when she got fixed a feww weeks ago she was in heat. So its possible that shes not but i would have them make sure before the surgery. Cause i didnt know sasha was in heat and they added a fee for it. |
