How can I tell if Zeus is a Purebred?

I bought my little guy thinking he was a purebred and then my parents got one and found out its a Snorkie (schnauzer/ Yorkie). So my mom was looking around online and we think that Zeus looks like a snorkie pup. I just got another yorkie, Bruce, and he looks like a classic Yorkie. No doubt about it, he's a yorkie. Zeus is short and stocky and has a pudgier nose than Bruce. Zeus' hair is fluffy and Bruce and has straight hair. There is only a few weeks difference in the pups. I called the vet to find out if the could tell me and they said that if the papers say he is a yorkie he is. He is not registered yet but we have the papers to register him. How can I find out if he is purebred?

	Well you cant judge by thier looks. Sasha is tall and long and had curly fluffy hair. And i know her parents so shes for sure purebred. Ask your vet to do a blood test. Thats the only way i know of.

	5 pound yorkie can anyone give me an idea how big a five pound yorkie will be what does it compare to the size of a bag of sugar?

	DNA test You can get a DNA test thru AKC if the pup is AKC registered. You can google DNA testing for dogs and get one cheap online. I'm getting one done at the vets for $140.00 but if you call around you may be able to get a cheaper one done.
