New parent needs help!

I recently got an 8 month old yorki named Elsa. She was abused and neglected by her previous owners. I have never owned a small dog. In fact I have never owned a dog under 80lbs. I am at a loss on how to get her to eat dog food, potty train her or teach her tricks and manners. I feel bad for her because of how she was treated her whole life but my house cant handle much more. What do I do?

	I would also post this in the Yorkie Rescues & New Homes Needed section so that more people will see it and maybe able to help you out. Good luck, I am not sure what to tell you.
