fleas

My babie is 12 and this summer has been terrible. She is getting eaten alive with fleas and she is highly allergic. I'm out of work and tried to DR her myself, I have been all over the internet and nothing works. I finally did manage to get up some money to get her a flea pill but she is still scratching like crazy with sores on her body. Yet.... my part chih. isn't getting fleas like this. Any ideas to help her

 | fleasIf $ is an issue and it is for everyone, try putting your yorkie in the tub with warm not hot water to get the fleas off of her. Rub, rub and rinse her over and over. You'll see them in the water. If she is really irritated there are some low cost sprays with hydrocortisone you can get from Walmart. I just spent $10 also today at Lowes for a pack of indoor bombs to kill the fleas in the carpets etc. If you are infested indoors you will not get them off of her. You'll need to vacuum really good even furniture and wash bedclothes and any blankets, beds used by your dog. Then use the bombs. Good luck. Mom of Simon |
