Hello my name is Christina and my yorkie, Sophie, passed away 5 weeks ago and Im having an extremely tough time getting through this, I know time will heal my heart slowly, but im interested in any other advice. Sophie died tragically and I found her and the images will not leave my head. Any advice I would greatly appreciate. Thank you for reading this im hoping someone has a good coping strategy.

![]() | well if you want a new dog it would def help keep your mind off of Sophie and focus more toward it. its of course normal for people to have meltdowns and constant reminders of their lost friends but just remember she is in a better place. |

![]() | I know that it is so hard to get those thoughts and images out of your head.....but, everytime they enter, you have to make a decision to replace them with some loving moment you had with your baby. Sophie, I'm sure would want it that way....its a conscious decision, and you'll have to work at it, soon, when Sophie crosses your mind, they will be happy memories. |
