Lyme Disease Vacine

My vet wants to give my little guy the lyme disease vacine and I am secred to death to give it. I have heard Yorkies have a bad reaction to it. My Yorkie is 2.8 lb at 7 months. And I do not know if I should chance it or not!!! I have also read horror stories on the k9 advantix, frontline, etc. and I am not sure which one of these I should use, after reading about all of the reaction people babies have had!! Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks
