Has anyone else had problems with the hot spot spray?
My girlfriend use this spray and her yorkie started having neurological problems, loosing his balance and vomitting, etc...the emeergency vet said that it was from the tree oil in the spray?

| | No problems yet with tea tree oil, but there are so many chemical and natural ingredients in these skin products that a dog that is prone to allergies is a sitting target. They need to do a skin scraping and bloodwork to determine the cause of the hot spots....food allergies account for 15% of all skin-related issues....and then have the vet prescribe something. I have seen some terriers eat their tales completely off they got so severe. Make sure the area is shaved, permitting the skin to breathe and free of moisture. Good luck with the furbaby. |
