![]() | I just wanted to say that I hope Max feels better. I'm not sure about the blue pill because my baby hasent had ear problems, but I do clean his ears out with a solution in the morning and evening, and I make sure the hair thats inside is plucked to prevent infection. My puppy licked his paws and bit his feet when I first got him and thats because he was eating purina puppy chow and it has corn in it, which can cause skin irritation in some dogs, once he stopped eating that he was a lot better and he doesnt lick and itch anymore. |

![]() | My dog had an ear infection and the vet gave me an ear cleanser (which smelled like mellon) and also an antibiotic to put in her ear. It cleared up. She had both staph and another infection which is what the vet said was the cause of the terrible odor. I met another person in the vets office that said her dog got a bad ear infection and it didn't clear up and she had to have the ear canal removed to the tune of MANY dollars. When my dogs get an infected ear, I take them to the vet immediately so it doesn't get worse. My dog also licks her feet and chews hair off them and her legs. It's allergies and happens at the same time each year. The vet gave her some allergy pills. We have tried several different kinds and some work better than others. Hope your dogs ears clear up soon.
