| ![]() I know smaller breeds as a rule live longer than larger breeds.I am curious- what is the oldest age you have ever heard of in a Yorkie?

| ![]() Awhile back, I remember someone posting that their yorkie was 17 years old. That's the oldest I've heard of, but I'm sorry I can't remember who posted that.

| ![]() I had two sweet angels that lived a long time. Tasha was a Maltese and lived for 18 years. Toffee, who was really my Dad's baby, was a little Yorkie girl that lived for 16 years. ![]() At the present time, my oldest is my precious girl whom I call granny Spanky. She is doing great at 12 years. Last but not least, is my baby Mango, who is 10 months of pure cuteness. ![]() |

| ![]() I just sold Chance to a wonderful lady who just lost her 17 year old yorkie. I was amazed that the yorkie lived that long but now I see that lots of them do. |

| ![]() You're all lucky to have been able to enjoy your babies for such a long time. I can't imagine my life without mine, so I've decided I want them both to outlive me.

| ![]() My childhood pet, a black and tan chihuahua named Stacy (Anastasia) lived to be at least 15 or 16...we got her from a rescue, and she was between 3-4 when we adopted her.

| ![]() My oldest baby the little one is 14 years old. The vet told us 2 years ago that he only had a couple more months to live as he has congested heart failure. But Corky is still going strong. He can not get up on the furniture and has a hard time seeing and hearing. ![]()

| ![]() My precious Chester was between 15 & 17 when I lost him after five wonderful years together. I rescued him and the vet guessed his age at between 10 & 12. My Rosebud, whom I rescued at the age of 15, lived until she was 18. I now have sweet Harry, who was quite old when I got him. By the way he acts, I'm guessing he's at least 14. I just love the older ones and enjoy spoiling them rotten their last few years on this side of Rainbow Bridge. |

| ![]() My Yorkie, Koko was 16 years. We had to have him put to sleep two days after his birthday. And I have to add that he was extremely healthy all of his life up until his last year. We didn't know all of the things that are bad for dogs back then and he ate everything ..even chocolate. He also liked everything on his hamburger including onions. ![]()
