My Yorkie, Koko was 16 years. We had to have him put to sleep two days after his birthday. And I have to add that he was extremely healthy all of his life up until his last year. We didn't know all of the things that are bad for dogs back then and he ate everything ..even chocolate. He also liked everything on his hamburger including onions.
