| ![]() ![]() Sorry for all the questions...her regular vets office isn't open until monday. Except for the runs, she's ok, so I'm not sure how concerned I should be.

YT 500 Club Member | ![]() The vet will do a fecal test to check for the giardia. U can give her canned pumpkin to firm up her stool. Giardia is a nasty parasite that is hard to get rid of. If u have other dogs I would prob get them tested too if she tests positive. Try to clean her butt and feet with baby wipes each time after she goes #2, until u can see the vet. Hope your baby feels better ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Hope Tia feels better real soon!!! Don't have a whole lot of answers for ya though, sorry... But i have heard the chicken and rice is good for them when they get belly aches. Make sure she gets enough water, for dehydration. But as long as she's not acting sick, I hope it will pass (literally).

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() This sounds like Giardia - this is what Marcel is being treated for - such a pernicious little bug. Watch her closely bc giardia can turn severe kind of quickly if your baby is a puppy - it can actually kill puppies if left untreated. Bring a stool sample w/ you to the vet - that way, they won't have to put the "swipe" inside her to get one, which is painful bc her bottom is probably quite sensitive if she's been having diarrhea.
