| ![]() My yorkie is 11 months old. She really doesn't eat much. She ate a bit more when we first got her, but she won't touch any of the dry food we have out for her. She is mainly getting by recently on human food like chicken, etc. What is the best brand that I can get @ Petsmart or a grocery store? She'll be 1 year old in June. |

| ![]() Do you have a Petco?? They have a couple of high quality foods there. I would recommend the Solid Gold brand that they sell there. Check out www.dogfoodanalysis.com The 4 star and 5 star foods are what they recommend for yorkies. Or you could continue to homecook for them, but get a good book that tells you how to do it correctly on a long-term basis. Get a book that will tell you what supplements they need and stuff like that. We homecook, and we make big batches and freeze in freezer bags what won't be used in the next couple of days. That makes it so much easier to homecook.

| ![]() Definitely check out the petfood analysis web site. I did not know until I visited that site that the food I feed my dogs was such garbage. They now eat Innova and love it. ![]() |

| ![]() Yeah, do your research because it is scary when you learn what "by-products" really mean. ![]()
