Yeah, do your research because it is scary when you learn what "by-products" really mean.
I used to feed mine eukanuba, but after talking to people on here plus all the recalls, I switched to Merrick's puppy plate- you cant get it at petsmart or petco though. it was worth the drive to a specialty store. He LOVES it. Also, if the only option you give them is dry food, they will eventually eat it. They won't starve to death. it might be scary for the first day, but once they realize that nothing else is coming along, they will eat. the higher quality foods don't have "fillers" so they actually end up eating less but getting better nutrients which is sooo important for out little ones!!
