| ![]() Yes, peanut butter was the first thing I thought of when I saw your post. It should work great. It probably wouldn't be bad if he ate it, but try to keep it on long enough that you can comb through it and get the gum out. Good luck! ![]()

If its just plain peanut butter it shouldnt bother him. I give Sam peanut butter in his baby kong and it doesnt bother him at all. You would only need a lil bit to make it work. It really sticks to the gum and brings it out.

| ![]() Ok My first ? is it a sugar free gum??? It is toxic to dogs http://www.avma.org/press/releases/061001_xylitol.asp second to get it out fast I would cut it or you can use vegtable oil it will work faster than the peanut butter. good luck. |

| ![]() Yeah- I just heard that on good morning america this morning. Any gum/candy/desert that has xylitol in it is VERy bad for dogs. Apparently a 20 lb. dog can't eat 2 peices of gum without serious problems.. That being said, Duncan got a timy piece of gum too (he was fine) and I just had to cut it out.. ![]()

| ![]() Thanks everybody, it worked like a charm(minus the peanut butter footprint on the carpet lol). But he didn't digest the gum, he grabbed it, stretched it while trying to get part off...and I grabbed him and took it. |
