| ![]() My little baby has been with me for a week now and I'm getting frustrated with housebreaking. She is four months old so I realize her bladder is small. I take her out every hour, yet she still pees in the house. Last night I took her out every time she started sniffing. She would pee outside but when she came back in she would pee inside as well. Do you know why she may be doing this and how I can teach her to stop? Also, when I have her in the kitchen and use a baby gate she behaves perfectly but as soon as I let her through the rest of the house she runs wild. Some days are better than others, what do you think causes this? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer! |

| ![]() She is still a baby - so continue the housebreaking training. If she behaves perfectly while enclosed in the kitchen then confine her there and slowly add rooms for her to learn the rules in. Providing too much space too fast is overwhelming to a little one. Until she learns that every space inside the house is off limits to piddling then she is confined to the smaller spaces.
