Hello everyone, we have a 4-month-old Yorkie Poo named Amber. We have noticed that when she finds another Yorkie she becomes fast friends. We have taken her to the pet park and it's like the other are not quite good enough for her to play with. (Sometimes they are too big for her) She has 2 friends she does play with a Collie and a Cocker Poo. She plays for hours with the Cocker Poo. We are just trying to find new friend for her in our area.

Aw, so sweet! You might look into the specific state boards we have on here and see if anyone has any play groups in your area. I'm not in Texas but there are a ton of people on here that are from there so hopefully someone will be able to help you out!

I'm about an hour and 1/2 from San Antonio - and there are quite a few people on this board that are in the South, TX area - so I'm sure there are some that are IN San Antonio!

By the way - I can't wait to go back to the River Walk this summer - it is so pretty there! My husband and I just love it

Next time you come in you need to check out our new pet park at McAllister

The official grand opening of the McAllister dog park will be at 12 noon on Saturday, March 31.

They don't have any signs out but it is the last right before you get to the Starcrest exit. They have a big pill of dirt and stuff in front of the park so you will miss it. We drove around for about 2 hrs looking for it, but your dogs will have a lot of fun once you find it!!

We attended the official grand opening of the McAllister dog park. There was a live band, Pooh Paraded, the mobile spa, Lucy's doggie daycare, adoptions and occurs the dogs!! Our little Yorkie had a great time and so did our Lab!
