I am interested in a lookout type carseat, but would like one i can switch to the backseat if my husband is riding with me.

Has anyone heard of something like this?

My backseat is a two seater, not individual seats

Just get the regular one, not the console and it will go in front or back. There is a post of someone selling one here and there is another with a link to a site that has marked them half-price.

but it looks like the bottom strap fits around a front seat

I see there are different types of seats called Look outs -- here is the kind I was thinking of:

here is a different kind ... perhaps you can use it in the back seat as well? (if you have headrests, I would imagine it can be done) ...

I have something similar but I have an SUV, so the back seat is different ...

Do you think the inside fabric of the seat would make them hot???? Just inquring as I am looking into car seats as well.

you can always have the AC on or the window opened a tad ... the seat inside is not hot ... I use a blanket in there, any way, to make it more comfy ... your baby can lie down and fall asleep if she wishes .... I added another leash to keep her from jumping out ... I tied it around one of the things that go over the head rest and then hooked the leash to her harness ....
