| ![]() Yesterday I took Cali to the vet and they took off her cast! ![]() ![]() Her leg looks good, not as matted as I thought it was going to be. But it does look a little thiner than the other three, and the hair will comb through pretty okay, alot is coming off. I guess that is what would've shedded had it not been in a splint for 7 weeks. And she won't walk on it too much ![]()

| ![]() Awwwwww glad Cali's cast is off. After a couple of days she'll get back into using that leg again. I remember when my son had his leg in a cast for six weeks when the cast was removed the leg looked so thin. I guess it's the same with dogs. Everything will be back to normal in no time. Hopefully the worst is over. ![]() Carol & Buddy ![]() |

| ![]() Yea I am glad she got it off. Not sure what an E collar is. Is that one of those things that look like they have a lampshade on their head? |

| ![]() Exactly. She looks quite the ridiculous one with that thing on. She keeps ploppping it against the ground and it makes her lose her balance. I tried to let her go without it today, but the minute I took my eyes off her she was biting at the leg. so back on goes the dumb "lampshade".
