| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member  |  raven attack These are the worst pictures I've ever posted, but I was proud of Eddie's reaction. A bird attacked, he saw it coming, and he ran like heck and escaped. 1. Raven attacks 2. Eddie sees it 3. Eddie runs Ravens are not known for attacking live animals, so I'm not terribly worried. Still ... it's a little spooky. The last shot is just a cute shadow pic I like.

| Good boy, Eddie! Fast reflexes! I worry about hawks where I live, but I never thought of ravens or other birds.

| Good boy Eddie. I think it is best to be cautious of all large birds, whether they are known to be predators of live animals or not. When they are hungry, they won't wait to something not alive!!!

| woah!!! What a smart boy Eddie is!!! I see him look at the raven and start his escape!! I have one question....how the heck did you have time to take pics of Eddie while he escaped? My camera would have crapped out!!

| Fantastic pictures, as usual!!!!!!!!!!  I was in my backyard with H&H the other day and they were running all over that yard chasing each other. I happened to look up at the sky and there was a HAWK circling them. It circles them probably 20 or so times, and that is just what I SAW! I quickly scooped my babies up and took them inside. I think they hawk thought they were rabbits or field mice! It was ready to attack!  Glad all Eddie saw was a raven and not anything too dangerous. |
