i have not been on the site for a few days i am afraid i have some sad news on Thursday my lovely Dad died suddenly he had been doing DIY that day finished off had his tea which he ate , then my mum made him a coffee while he got wahed and changed after 20 mins she realised his coffee wass getting cold so she went to look for him, as my mum entered the bedroom she saw my Dad on the floor by the bed he was dead there was nothing she could do, she was of course screaming down the phone to me that is a call i shall never forget i was screaming , me and my husband ran to the car we only live a few yards away we arrived at the same time as the ambulance , i ran to see my mum who was screaming on the floor with my Dad i saw him and i sasw the crews efforts to revive him the resst iss a blur but there was nothing to be done i think he suffered cardiac arrest he was a very heavy smoker and we had nagged him for years about this, my heart is broken and i cannot get those images of my dear Daddy on the floor and the awful colour of his face my heart will never mend i just needed to tell someone really it was so sudden that i keep just shaking and crying please pray for my poor mum she hass been with my Dad since she was 14 years old he was only 63 .

I am so sorry for your loss!! I lost my dad just about three years ago rather suddenly also! It is a horrible pain that you just can't explain. I just want you to know I will be praying for you and your family to get through this...

I am so terribly sorry for the loss of your Dad. I will not presume to tell you that I know how you feel, but I know firsthand how I felt over 21 years ago when my Dad died suddenly. He was my hero ... my buddy and I miss him every day. Your sweet Mom and you & your family will be in our prayers. God bless you all.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your and your mum's terrible loss. There are no words that can make you feel any better but please know that, in time, you both will begin to heal. I'm sure your dad would want you to remember him with happy tears instead of sad tears. Try not to dwell on the loss, just try to remember all the good times you were blessed with because of him. Please take care of yourself and your mum. Sending prayers and hugs for your entire family. I am so sorry.

My heart breaks for you this morning....Unfortunately, a lot of us have been there.......

The pain never entirely goes away........my Dad still visits me to help with my cooking.....(I lost him 6+ years ago). I used to call him for cooking instuctions......

Your Dad will visit you too.......as an angel ........
