| ![]() I love Wendy's chili!! The only other chili I love is at this awesome restaurant in Brooklyn (Park Slope area) called Santa Fe Grill. They make the BEST chili I have ever tasted.

I make GREAT Chili. I don't follow a recipe but I use the following ingredients....ALL ingredients can be varied or increased/decreased - it ALWAYS comes out good. Hamburg - COOK IT FIRST w/chopped onions - then add to the sause ....I season it with Chili Powder & Garlic and let it sit - you can sub ANY stew meat 2 cans Kidney Beans - or more depending on my mood ![]() 2 cans of DARK RED Kidney Beans 1 Can pinto beans 2 Jalopenos - FRESH 1 small can chopped green chilies 1 BIG chopped Onion The sause is Stewed Tomatos - HUGE CAN 2 reg cans Crushed Tomatoes 1-2 cans Tomato Puree 1 small can Tomato Paste Beer - 1/2 can - drink the other half or don't worry about this and drink the whole can 1-2 or more tsp Cayenne 1 tsp Dry Mustard 1 tsp Celery Seeds Garlic Cloves - crushed Little SALT and Pepper tiny bit of Lime Juice LOTS OF CHILI POWDER - I add the McCormics kind and regular - by the handfuls In most cases - I don't use everything I listed but try to include them all - the chili always comes out yummy | |

| ![]() OMG My dad said he would have to think about it since there is a secret ingredient and it has won competitions (it has). I told him it was time to pass it down since I was his only child ![]() And I used my most pitiful "daddy" voice which has never failed me. I expect an email recipe soon ![]() |

| ![]() V, I love your recipe!! Mine is rather simple: Ground meat (I use venison in mine) 1 package of frozen chopped onions & green peppers - use amount to your personal taste (see, told ya it was easy!) 1 package of Bayou Magic chili seasoning 1 can diced tomatoes 2 cans Ranch beans That's it! Depending on how much I'm making (like enough to freeze for later), I'll just double the above! All this talk of chili has me wanting to make some!! Come on cold weather!!! Suzi
