runny nose

is a wet runny nose ok ? i noticed his nose was wet and it wasnt from drinking? this is my first day on the job of being a dog owner and i am so lost, he has a cage and i put a old towel on the floor in there and he tugs at the ends where the strings are loose is this bad?

if his nose is wet it is okay, but runny isn't good. make him a really comfortable bed with a few blankets and keep him near you all the time. i'm sure you will get a ton of help, and let us know if you have any more questions!

Congrats on becoming a dog owner, there is no joy like it in the world!!
A runny nose can mean so many things. It could be temperature, allergies, a cold, etc... Just make sure you keep him warm and if you notice any other symptoms such as watery eyes, sneezing, coughing, you should take him to the vet.
