Congrats on becoming a dog owner, there is no joy like it in the world!!
A runny nose can mean so many things. It could be temperature, allergies, a cold, etc... Just make sure you keep him warm and if you notice any other symptoms such as watery eyes, sneezing, coughing, you should take him to the vet.
