| Just had to vent a bit about the black cloud day I had yesterday… just crazy! I go outside first thing in the morning to walk Bridget as soon as we get to the grass I step in someones dog poopy. AGRRRR… hate it when folks in my neighborhood don’t pick up. Then I get to work and find out the company I’m working for lost their funding and they won’t be renewing my contract. That’s not such a bad thing since I already had something way better lined up. In the afternoon as I was leaving to go meet with my new company I noticed that my car windshield must have been hit with a rock and there’s a crack in it. I’d just replaced it back in November. Then coming home from the meeting I get a tire blow out on the freeway (something metal bounced off a truck in front of me and I hit it) and I sat out there in my business suit by the side of the road waiting 2 hours for AAA. I finally make it home after sitting in Salt Lake rush hour for 1 1/2 hours to find that the hose in my washer came loose and there was standing water all over the laundry room floor. And last but not least as I get in bed to watch tv, the tube blows out and it isn’t working. I just turned off the light and went to sleep. I thought I’d better just stay in bed and not tempt fate, I might be struck by lightning or something! Can you believe all that in ONE day.. i've never had a day like that before. Thankfully, today has been MUCH better and I think the cloud has lifted. |

| Yeah… nuts huh? I was near tears a few times. By the time the TV blew I was so tired I couldn’t deal anymore. Just curled up with my little furbaby and went to sleep. She makes everything all right, no matter how bad the day. |

| We had a day like that once. My daughter and her husband borrowed our van to go to Wichita (100 miles away) to buy baby furniture. Well, they had trouble with the van and had to get parts and my SIL had to work on it. Well, this happened right at 5:00 and finding a parts store within walking distance was difficult (daughter was quite far along in her pregnancy), but they got it done. They shopped some more and later in the evening they stopped at Wal-mart, well, this time the van caught on fire!! So they called home wondering what to do. It was late so my husband had to book them a room to stay in since they didn't have a credit card. They called a taxi to come and get them and take them to the motel. It didn't arrive for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. They finally get to the motel, but they haven't eaten so they decided to walk down the street and get something to eat. When they would reach a restaurant the lights would go out because it was time to close. They had to walk some distance down the street before they finally found one that was open. My daughter was in tears over everything that had gone on that day, but the adventure wasn't over yet!! The next day we get around and my husband gets a trailer to pull the van home on. Since we are so far from home and in the big city we have several things to do ourselves. All my daughter wanted to do was come home so she wasn't very happy with us. When we got there we loaded up the van and did what we needed done. Well, we stopped at a fast food restaurant to eat then headed for home. The van that we had driven out to pick them up started having transmission troubles before we got home!! Then I went to find a receipt in my purse and I couldn't find my purse. I called the fast food restaurant and, and sure enough, I had left it there!! One hundred miles away!!! I had to drive back out to Wichita the next day to get my purse. Pretty soon we were saying, "I wonder what's going to happen next!" and we were laughing about it. It ended up that my daugher hated the furniture that she had picked out and they had to make another trip to return it! I'm sorry about the bad day that you had. Just remember.....When life gives you lemons.....make lemonade!!!
