| ![]() I'm sick and today I realized that my yorkie has been puking alot. He puked this morning and also puked about 1/4 on his peepad but it's all water. He's not eating his dry dog food. Can humans spread their cold to animals? Should I bring him to the vet? ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() I have read several places that we really can't get what the other has, but it does sound like a trip to the vet wouldn't be a bad idea or at least a call to one to see what they say. Hope you both are feeling better real soon. ![]() |

| ![]() No we cant spread our colds flus to dogs and vice versa. If the vomiting keeps up I would take him to the vet.

| ![]() No - dogs can't catch our colds. But - your little guy sounds like something is wrong with him. Hopefully, it is something that will be totally gone by tomorrow. If it continues - you'll have to visit the vet - darn! My dogs and cats occasionally throwup for no good reason. They might have eaten something that didn't agree with them that day, eaten too quickly, or whatever. Anyway - they are never sick when they do this - they are just making a mess for me to clean up!!!! And, they do it only occasionally. Carol Jean |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ![]() I tend to agree if he keeps getting sick and isn't eating...he needs to see the vet. I sure hope he feels better but I would make an appointment and monitor him very closely until you see the vet ...maybe keep track of exactly how many times he's been sick and what if anything he's eaten......GOOD LUCK ! |

| ![]() If your puppy is puking and not playing, take him to the vet even if it's an emergency visit. It's better to make sure nothing serious is wrong since these little guys can react so quickly when something is not right with them. Let us know what happens! ![]() |
