|  New Puppy Hi everyone! It's been a long, long time since I was on here last. I will be picking up my new puppy next month. He is a male Yorkie. My question is, are male yorkies harder to housebreak than females. I haven't had a male dog in a very long time. Any advice and or tips will be greatly appreciated. Thank you! |

| Congratulations! I don't think they are harder to train. Two of mine are squatters - a real plus. May be due to early neutering, but may not.

| Congratulations on your new puppy. It was a year ago this month (the 16th) that I bought my Phoebe home. Not sure on the potty training. Phoebe learned mostly from my sisters pugs. At home she still uses a potty pad though mostly at night. |
