| ![]() I wanted to reintroduce myself, as it has been a very very long time since I have been here! My name is Jennifer (Jenn). I was active on this board years ago, after I got the love of my life, Gigi. The people on this forum were a goldmine of information and help... and gave me so much support... especially after my girl was Dx with an inoperable liver shunt. Gigi was the light of my life, and with the information and support from the members here, she lived to 11 years and 11 months old. She went to the bridge on March 15, 2018... and I miss her every single day. While I'm no longer the constantly crying mess I was (for months), I still have not gotten over her loss. She got me through so much over the last few years, always by my side! She was my emotional support during a very bad divorce... 2019 was spent battling breast cancer... and I know that if her little body hadn't given out, she would have been right by my side during all of that too. I don't want THIS post to be a downer, because there is JOY! I have a new baby who should be home in about 4 weeks! His name is MILO and he is 8 weeks old today! His breeder keeps them until they are 12 weeks AND at least 2 pounds. At 8 weeks he weighs in at 1.35 pounds... so I'm hoping he has a little growth spurt! He didn't have much of one between 5 weeks and 8 weeks! I've got reacquaint myself with how to post pictures in this forum! He is a cutie! |

| ![]() Welcome back! Congrats on your new baby and my sympathies on your loss. I lost Callie in June and still can’t talk about certain stuff without tears but puppies have away of opening our hearts back up and healing it.

| ![]() It took me way too long to get over losing my first 2 Yorkies as I just couldn't come to accept another dog for so long. It was silly to wait so long and I am convinced I was neve as happy w/out a Yorkie in my life. I'm so glad you are getting another sweetie and cannot wait for pictures as Milo grows up. No matter what you are dealing with, if you can provide a dog with his best life, everyone needs a Yorkie, IMO. ![]()

| ![]() Milo came home today! The breeder said he has a big personality, and he's a little spitfire! I'm so in love! We had a really good day. He wasn't too fond of his travel crate, but he did ok on the 2 1/2 drive home. He follows me everywhere, and is constantly looking up at me for direction. Hopefully that will continue, and we will have a very well trained pup! He has gone potty outside every time i have taken him out. We had 1 accident, which was totally my fault. I knew he needed to go, but instead of picking him up, i asked him to follow me... which he did, but he didn't make it! Just a few minutes ago, he actually went to the door! we went outside, and he did potty! He hasn't been interested in the dry kibble. The breeder sent us home with some that is 50% ground up and 50% regular. She says that sometimes they will eat the ground up better when they first get to their new home. Tonight I fixed him a cube of the freeze dried primal that he has been eating every morning, and he did eat about 75% of that. I felt better after he ate! He did have some treats through out the day, and he has been drinking water! He took a nap in his crate this afternoon, but it took him a while to settle. I left the door open after he came out from his nap, and he went back to it, and got inside a couple of times. i put him down for the night about 15 minutes ago, and all is quiet... so I hope that means we are going to have a very successful 1st night. I'm just so glad to have my little guy home! I'll post some pictures tomorrow. It's been a very long day for me too! |

| ![]() So happy to hear Milo is finally in his forever home. He sounds like a perfect puppy and should be easy to train commands. Enjoy a little boy and have fun.
