| ![]() We recently moved from to a new county and having to find new services for both Emma and myself is proving to be a challenge for us during the time of COVID. Some vets, groomers etc are not accepting new clientele and that is frustrating . I drove an hour and 15 to take Emma to our old Groomer's house just so she didn't go too long between grooms but that can't be maintained. I've groomed before but it's just not as crisp as what the professionals can do. I hope someone opens up their clientele soon so Emma can get pampered.

| ![]() I have heard about the not taking net clients thing which is why I haven’t attempted to find a different vet. Have you looked into mobile grooming? I have seen a lot of these popping up. My groomer quit where she was working and started her own mobile grooming. If you can find a Facebook page for your local area or county you can also ask recommendations on there. I’m sorry you are having to find a new groomer it can be frustrating and difficult.

Good luck....I do my own these days and would hate to have to look again...I have a hard time trusting groomers.

| ![]() nextdoor.com is a good choice, all local ppl. Best way to get info. when you're new to an area. Let us know how you made out.

Our groomer was mobile and she doesn't service the area. Most of the groomers I've contacted so far have been mobile and not taking new clients. I don't think Emma would do well at a traditional grooming salon unless I know she serviced right when I take her in, no cage dryer , serviced within the hour-1.5 hours and then I can pick her up right after.
