| ![]() Where have I been for a month ? Well here is my story. Right after I decided not foster any more, I desperate call for help. I was told a very pregnant Yorkie mix had been tied to a pole in Wal-mart's parking lot. Several people who work there know me. What were the rotten people who dumped this baby thinking ? Anyway I went and got her. I took her to the Vet and she was checked out, and x-rayed. The puppies were ready to deliver, and by her temperature it would be today or tomorrow. Debbie, Marilyn and I paid her vet bills and Marilyn kept her at her house. We all gathered round at 2am for her delivery of 5 tiny little puppies. We were very busy tube feeding 5 puppies. Unfortunately little mix didn't have enough milk and was very run down. We think she is a long haired Chihuahua mix. and our vet said she was about 7 months old ! We don't really see Yorkie in her. We lost two puppies. The mama was flea infested,had round worms and tape worms So of course the puppies had to be treated for round worms too they were weak and probably a little early. Monday The Mama Harriet ( dog (now spayed) was placed with a nice older couple. The three puppies are almost ready to be adopted. We are exhausted. But it is worth it.

| ![]() Wow, you have been busy. Nice job! I can't believe some of the things people do. Good thing you were able to help this little one and find her a great home. You are an angel to her and her puppies.

| ![]() You really are a godsend. I have no idea how anyone could abandon a baby, no less for her to be pregnant so very young. This is going to have a happy ending because of you. Harriett was my mother's name. I don't often see it, but it sure brought a warm feeling to my heart in more ways than one. |

| ![]() Congrats on the puppies. I fostered 6 kittens this year that weren't quite 2 weeks old so I know how demanding it is. All I have to say is WAY TO GO! Doesn't it feel amazing to help these precious babies! Even though I was sooo ready to find them proper homes lol. |

| ![]() Wow....What is wrong with ppl?? I am sure it was blazing hot too, being you are from Flordia. I am so glad the mamma has found a home already. I'd think placing an adult dog would be much harder than finding a home for a puppy, so perhaps it will be easy to find the puppies loving home when they are ready!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya ![]() |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() This is so sad that this momma was left tied to a pole. I do not know what are people thinking. I am so glad that an angel (you ) went and saved her. Harriet now has a new life thanks to you.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | ![]() Thank goodness she found you ! It just amazes me and I will never in my life understand what in the world goes through people minds when they make the conscious decision to be so cruel and uncaring. It just makes me sick ! It would be nice if the people as the store could review the parking lot cameras and find out who did this and of course turn them into the police. But I am sure that is just wishful thinking.

| ![]() Whoever did that to that sweet baby is just plain mean. Thank you for helping her. I am sorry the pups did not all survive, but without all of you, likely none of them would have made it. Gosh, what a wonderful thing you all did for her and her babies! {{{Hugs}}}

Oh I would have grabbed that baby too. I keep going outside to see if this little girl will come back around (I'm not going on private property to get her). I've looked up some of the no kill shelters near by and have left some messages and sent e-mails. Most of them want you to Foster. I can't even think straight right now. I thought I had it all together but...

| ![]() You did a wonderful thing. I don't know how anybody could do that to their dog but a lot of people are thoughtless cruel humans (and I use the term humans very loosely). My cousin once found a little dog tied to the bumper of her car. She took the dog in and paid a number of high vet bills but the dog had too many problems and died a few months later. As I said a lot of people are mean and have no feelings. |
