YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() I haven't tried either one but am also interested to know more. I have a Puppia harness but Teeka has outgrown it and I need to start looking for a new harness. I like the looks of the choke free one on the top.

| ![]() Funny...I'm just about to purchase a choke free from Lil Sis. I'm just trying to decide on the color. I don't have a BB. But, the choke free looks less bulky to me. And the on & off looks a little easier too. I decided to go with the choke free.

| ![]() I went with the buddy belt because of its shape. Kaji is not a square or a rectangle so I'm not sure how comfortable that one is. I also like that the BB is secure. Not that the choke free isn't. Haven't tried it. ![]()

Teri, I really do appreciate you posting the links for both of these (I don't know how to put links in yet). I just looked at Lil Sis's choke free harnesses and really like them. TBH I thought a Buddy Belt was for keeping boy puppies from peeing. LOL Sometimes it just takes me a while to catch up. ![]()

| ![]() Hee hee! ![]() ![]() I've got both, had them imported (they didn't sell BB's in the UK at the time, they do now... ![]() Ok, personally...I find with BB's, the size has to be more exact, due to the buckle holes. The leather's very hard to start with, and take a while to soften up. Apart from that, no problems. Again personally, Choke Free's are lovely and soft - the rectangular 'arm-holes' look strange to start with....but once on, you see that they go around the shoulder blades, which aren't circular....so the fit's just right ![]() Teri, I think you probably need one of each....in every colour ![]() ![]() |

Both of them look like they have positive attributes. Wasn't sure. So I figured I would ask. And of cause I will either get it from Lil sis or Maximo. Always support our family!

| ![]() I am completely biased ![]() I wrote on our blog why we love the BB: Buddy Belt Dog Harness - Dog Life and Style My guys are so comfortable in them. In terms of softness, some of the colors start out softer than others and require less or no time to break in. The Luxury and Fancy editions, and Special Edition Cocoa are super soft. I also found that my boys' black ones are softer. I love the BB's durability and the peace of mind knowing that my little rascals aren't going to get out of them. Like any product, there isn't one that is best for all dogs and people, but for us, the BB is the ultimate harness. ![]()

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() How are they with longer hair? Do they break the hair around the legs?

There is an exhibitor here who started with a one show boy and one pet girl. He said the pet girl never had any breakage, but his boy had a little on his back so he stopped using the harness while the boy was showing. The Choke Free doesn't break hair either, judging from my YT friends' doggies' coats.

| ![]() I'm leaning more towards the BB because My Chloe is only 5 months old and still growing....She 11inches around and almost 4lbs so I think she would be in the size 3.....I'm thinking the size 3 would fit her awhile .... As the Choke Free Harness would have to just fit her now. Unless I read wrong but I thought it said to order a inch larger but not to have the harness to big or the dog could get out of it. I think if she was done growing I might try the Choke Free Harness. |
