how about using washable pee pads?...he won't be able to tear those up! We got Bentley at 5 months old...he was NOT trained...I have to females that use pads...it didn't take him long before he got the hang of it...I want them to all go outside...I would suggest not giving him to much room to roam. I was keeping Bentley in an x-pen up until last week (he's tiny and gets into trouble...this is his safe place!

) now I gate him in our bedroom...more room to roam and he can't get into anything...I have his pee pad, toys, food, and bed in there...If you give your little guy to much room he will go all over the place.,,.
