| ![]() So now, his highness decides he doesn't like the Wellness Small Breed anymore. I'm going to try Blue Buffalo Puppy, and I bought a can of the stew as well. I let him have a little "sample" of it and he seemed to gobble it up. At dinner time tonight, we'll see if he is as excited. Please say some prayers, this pickiness is getting a little out of hand!

| ![]() How many foods did you try before the Wellness? He will be picky as long as somebody gives in. It's good if a pup likes their food, but at some point it's time to just put the kibble down and walk away.

He was on Innova until I saw it was P & G that produced it. So, we tried Wee Bit solid (slowly introduced him too it by mixing it in with the left over Innova) and he was pooping about 5 times a day. So we tried wellness and after thre first 3 bites, he wanted nothing to do with it. He doesn't get any people food. Now we're trying mixing in the blue buffalo.

| ![]() My dog seems to get that way. He'll eat a food for a few days then decide he doesn't want it anymore. But we've had success with Taste of the Wild brand Pacific Stream canned food. But he only ate once yesterday (instead of twice) and he hasn't yet eaten today so who knows what'll happen. I think we are going to stick with this for the long haul though. I'm going to keep putting it down for him and if he eats, good, if not, that's his problem. He will eat when he's hungry enough. At least that's what everybody says. So I recommend just put food down and leave it down until he eats it.

Only issue with free feeding we've had is the pooping schedule. With both my husband and I working it's hard to always be there when he needs to eat or when he needs to poop.

| ![]() I hand feed mine dry food so everyone gets their share with no arguments. They do get some white meat chicken, vegetables and scrambled egg sometimes. We have a YT member that free feeds her dog and just this week she posted a thread that her dog choked on his food while they were not at home. Some members decided to quit free feeding.
