We went on a short day trip today in the RV (dad, stepmom, brother, me and dogs) and they were enjoying life until Buddy, we think, got stung by a bee (we think he stepped on one...) and stopped walking. We never did see anything in his paw but he was lifting up his foot and whenever we touched it, it definitely was hurting him. Within an hour, he was acting normal and walking again... so we're not really sure. But poor Bud.

So the trip was cut short and we headed home early.

Either way, thought the picture was cute.

The dogs LOVE going in the RV....

ours truck with us and go camping they love it Lexi got stung by a bee once and it was a horrible thing many trips to the vet as she must be allergic. Scared me to death

That picture says it all! Looks like so much fun! I love seeing RVs going down the road with dog (or three) in there too.

The other dog, Lilly, got stung last year in the yard. And she BLEW UP like a balloon... her face was soooo swollen and her poor little paws were too. She looked like a chipmunk. It took about an hour to hit her (which is why we headed straight home with Buddy -- in case that were to happen) and then had to rush her to the emergency vet. We keep Benadryl on hand now but of course forgot it this day.

We also keep Benadryl on hand at all times. She did not swell up but became unresponsive And started drooling. This lasted for many hours and two visits to the vet with shots and Benadryl Scary never want to go thru that again. At least we know what to do if it should happen again
