My yorkie Cruton has dry itchy skin and wont stop scratching, and she also wont stop licking and "chewing" her butt I don't know what to do i have tried lots of things but she just wont stop! Please Help because Cruton is making her ears bleed and she wont stop even then!

Have you taken your baby to a vet? What shampoo/conditioner are you using? Do you have fleas? Is she allergic to anything?

My neibour is a vet and she says try putting oil in her food, that didnt work is just made her stool loose. I don't have fleas im using baby shampoo, and she isnt allergic to anything.... and thanx i love her name too

she just wont stop scratching we have changed her food many times so we know that its not the food, Im just not sure what to do!

if you're using human baby shampoo you might want to switch. a lot of human shampoos contain sulfates which can irritate dog's skin. switch to a dog shampoo or, if you want to use human shampoo, make sure it's sulfate free.

Plus the pH balance of a dog's skin is different from that of a human's skin. You really should use dog shampoo for a dog. You can try Yorkie Splash and Shine. I love it and it is the only kind I use.

I've used Jerob's Cocoa Butter and Mink Oil Shampoo for many years. It definitely is very conditioning to the skin and hair, and it has helped anyone I have given it to whose baby had problems with itching not relating to allergies. It helped one of my little ones who had terrible allergies, but it didn't solve all of her itching. It smells great and leaves the hair silky. It isn't available many places, so I order it directly from the manufacturer. I hope you can find something to help your baby.

the shampoo that i am using does not contain sulfates, I checked when i was buying it.
