|  My New Yorkie This is Oktober. She is 6 years old and weighs 4.7 lbs. I've only had her about a month. She came from a local rescue shelter. They rescued her from a puppy mill. Because of that, she has a tattoo of #31 in her left ear, lots of scars on her belly and a permanant scar on her eye from an old scratch -- this along with many other problems we are currently working on fixing -- she's been to the vet about 4 times since we've had her because she is so unhealthy -- but, she's getting better every day. She is still very scared of lots of things, but she is absolutely the sweetest little dog. I have 3 other Chihuahuas also, but Oktober adds so much character to our family. We love her.
