Odie was neutered today. He had 5 baby teeth removed too.. He is doing well and resting comfortably. Thank God it is over..

Yes I think so too, although he isn't moving too quick this evening..
Keeping him from jumping for 10 days..

Yes, that's the hard part. I have stairs for the dogs everywhere for the furniture; they were both neutered when they were young, before they got so brave. I could strand Bella on the furniture all day: she won't get off if the stairs aren't there. Puddie? Well, he's a BOY - 'nuff said . Most of the time he uses the stairs, but when's he's feeling playful, he'll launch himself off the furniture like a rocket . But at any rate, because they were young, it was easier to control what they did.

Good luck with Odie's recovery. He'll be just fine in no time at all.

Glad to hear that he came thru okay! Hot Rod lasted about 4-5 day before he jumped on and off the couch! lol.

I have a question, How long did it take for your babies to feel more like themselves? My vet wants me to kennel Odie for at least 10 days

They each slept most of the first day when they came home. Then the next day, they were more active. By the NEXT day, they were acting pretty close to normal.

The boys, they just have a little snip and it's done. I think Puddie was "stitchless" - they used glue. Bella had stitches in her belly - a hysterectomy. It amazed me how fast she bounced back (*I* sure didn't when it was MY turn!)

The vet wants you to keep him quiet so he doesn't "over do" things - get too wild, act like a Yorkie young'un - you know: full of life and bouncing all over the place . The vet wants him to relax and heal completely first.

Odie may have other ideas about how he wants to spend the next few days

Well he was like a younger pup but l think this will settle him a bit
He was happy go lucky bouncing all over the place. So we will see just what he will be like later
He has managed to pee which is good, and he has had water.. that is about it too.
I feel so bad
But I know that it is for the best for him.
