Well, Jackson got groomed today! He looks cute HOWEVER, I didn't really want it that short butttt... oh well. It took a while to get used to how silver he is but when you're close to his hair, it's so weird... he's got gold/silver/white/tan all mixed in to his body, it's so pretty! lol.

The way I look at it - it's the beginning of summer and this cut will last him for the whole summer plus + so I'm happy about that. They definitely shaved him a little shorter than I wanted but they kept his face and tail looking cute which I was happy about. And his hair grows SO FAST so the hair will be back in no time, for sure.

Mine have short do's too. I think they are much more comfortable that way and can play like dogs do. The hair does take about a year to grow long again and I just usually get one short grooming each spring. Then I just get trims around the feet/face/butt the rest of the year.

Jackson is so cute. He is going to be so cool in his summer cut. Nice that you won't have to worry about his hair all summer. And when he goes swimming he will dry off really fast.

your groomer did a great job . usually they leave to much on their head, but they a great job just right.

Yeah, well he's always had short year and I keep him in a short cut all year round but it's never been shaved like this! lol.

Yes, that's the main reason I wanted to do it! Less of a mess since he's constantly in the pool or water or dirt... lol.

Yeah, I love his face! The only thing I don't like (and I don't know if you can tell in the pic or not) but they kinda shaved the fur in between his eyes... I'm not too hot on that but ah well, like I said.. it will grow back.

He looks adorable...love that little face! Our Milo just got a similar cut for the summer...they will be so much cooler and more comfortable.

I've been thinking about taking Mister Toby to get groomed. A few people have said that once I do then his hair will start growing faster, wether thats true or not, I do not know ! Kinda nervous about it ! Jackson looks really cute !

Brittany...I think Jackson looks adorable! I too, like the "shorter" cut for my two. We are always on the go! Lots of walks on the beach, so it is a lot easier for me to care for.

I just had my two groomed the day before this pic was taken. I need to get a "full body" shot for ya. But you can sort of see how short their body is!

I love Jackson cut!
