| ![]() Hi, I'm planning to get a new yorkie and have a question to ask. How do baby yorkies' looks affect how they will look like when they grow older? Can you tell a little what the yorkie will grow up to be like? Even a tiny bit? When they're still puppies, will floppy ears grow up to be bigger or straight ears? Please help me. ![]() |

| ![]() Welcome to Yorkie Talk!! ![]() It's very difficult to tell what a yorkie puppy is going to look like when they mature. They can change so much. Usually the ears will stand up as they grow but there are some that don't and they are just as cute with floppy ears. Some people like the floppy ears better. I like them either way. Good luck in your search for a yorkie puppy. ![]() |

If you have a chance to see both the pups parents this may help you have a better idea as to what your baby will turn out to be like when older. Floppy ears are not a big deal to change. Usually the hair is just to heavy on the ears for a puppy to hold them up. Shaving them works best. Sometimes people will tape them up.
