Well we went and did it!

We added another baby to the family. We went and looked at a litter of eight puppies - 2 boys and 6 girls, and we fell in love with a beautiful Boxer baby girl.

Piper just turned 6 months old 2 days ago and we are already adding another pup to the mix. How crazy are we!?!

We already have Piper, our Chi Pixie, and our male Boxer Beowulf. Now we have a little girl that we will pick up on the 23rd. I still want my girl Yorkie and still plan on getting her...Yorkies don't take up too much room or eat too much - my reasoning at work here

I am really excited to bring her home. We will have a crazy house here I'm sure with two Boxers. We might breed them 2 years down the road but we're not sure yet. We were looking at a 15 week old Doberman Pincher today and she was perfect in every way. Before we decided for sure though we wanted to look at Boxer puppies, just to make sure we were making the right decision, and BAM!! we fell in LOVE with her little face. I feel so broken hearted for the Dobie though. She was such a sweet girl and it was like she was trying extra hard to win our love. Wish we could get her too

I can't wait to see pictures! Boxers are absolutely beautiful and so cute as puppies! What a house full, but lots of fun, I'll bet.

Oh my, I love boxers and just want to say congrats. Here is a pic of my little girl boxer when we brought her home, can't wait to see pics of your sweetie! Boxers have the best temperments.

I have a friend who breeds gorgeous boxers and they are so smart ! Congratulations on your new puppy and I can't wait to see pictures - they are so cute as babies

rosie plays every day over the park with her new friend a 6 month old girl boxer called millie she is so pretty and rosie loves here they run round together for ages.

Thanks everyone! We are all excited here waiting for her. We plan on driving up and visiting her again on Saturday. I'm going to take the camera along this time so I can get some pics of her and her siblings. We also saw the parents and her Mama Dog looked a lot like our Beowulf. We already know how wonderful Boxers can be, our Beo is so gentle with our 10 month old son and always has been and he is also "big brother" to Piper. They do EVERYTHING together. Our Chi, Pixie, looks at them both like she's saying "stupid boys don't know any better." Makes me laugh. Will definitely be posting baby pics as soon as I get them

Can't wait!!

Well, our little girl is home now almost a week and we've named her Luna. I call her Lady Luna Lu and she seems to like it. Her adopted fur siblings are already in LOVE, especially Piper. He ADORES his bigger brother Boxer, Beowulf, and is LOVING his new lil' sis (although she already weighs more than him by almost 5 lbs.) I think our male Boxer Beowulf knows she is his breed because he was sooooo happy when we brought her home room and introduced them. Piper protects her from our Chi, Pixie - who is and will remain the household Princess - when she tends to get snippy with Luna. He also slept in her crate with her for the first few night so she wouldn't be so lonely. He's a GREAT big-little brother. They enjoy chasing each other around the yard...Luna has trouble controlling her long legs so it is funny to see. Piper will slow down and sometimes stop so she can catch him and then he'll roll onto his back and let her be the BIG girl. He is sooo sweet to her. Makes his Mommy proud

Here are pics of her with my daughter, her littermates, with me holding her, and at the vets office the night we went and got her.
