My friend is taking a photography class and she came to take some pics of my boys, but they would not cooperate! Here are the 4 pics she could use, but I had to hold them still for her. They are a little darker than I wished and we did have a lot of light that day, must not have hit it right!

1. Both boys (Dex is the smaller one)
2. Dexter
3. Dexter
4. Fletcher

I lightened 2 of them up a bit.... do you think they are better?

I really like the natural light in the first one but with a little bit of fill light it really would pop.

You said they were too dark and sounded dissapointed so I lightened them a bit for you. Hope you or your friend don't mind as I meant no offense.

Those are wonderful pictures! The first one looks as though they are saying their prayers.

Oh no... no offense taken! You did a GREAT job! I love the 2nd one ... its my dexter, I think he has the sweetest little face in that picture!

Whew... I'm glad your not upset and that you like them. I did a little softening around the pups to make their face stand out more too.

All 4 pictures are totally great! but that first one of the two just has a special message to it. What a lovely picture

Early morning, or late afternoon are the best for using natural light.

I live in a townhouse and there are only windows in the front and the back, nothing on the sides, so its not a super bright condo. My boys are also a hand full when I have company so they wouldn't sit still for anything! I might submit the first one (them 'praying' lol) as one of my calendar picks. I am not sure yet, but the lighter one, not the original darker one.

Nice job on editing these pictures, they still look very natural, and yet very dramatic.
