My yorkie and I have moved back home to my mom's. Her poppa, my ex boyfriend, broke up with us and asked us to leave. She is so sad that he isn't around and is constantly looking for him. she is so used to having a house to run around in i feel really bad about it. She isn't allowed to run around my mom's house, it's not that big and her husband doesn;t see well and he steps on her. Yorkie depression is so hard, i wish i could make her understand that she is still loved very much even though her poppa won't ever see her again. He helped me raise her from a baby.

So sorry to hear about your breakup. They are hard on everyone, including pets. They just don't understand. I think if you just keep showing her how special she is and doing the same things you use to, like taking walks with her or taking her to a park. She should adjust. Just keep spending that extra time with her and she should be fine. Best wishes!

awwww that does stink. Break ups are so hard on all members of the family. Worse that you cannot talk to her and tell her what happened and have her understand! Well I hope you can get your own place soon and then she'll have the space to run around again.

Keep giving her lots of lovin and she'll snap out of it quickly!
