I found this site where you can run your address through ( or other people you know

) to see the element that surrounds me....it turns out I have a couple of weirdos nearby.....You can click on the little boxes located on the streets and then click on the "View Details" tab to get a few more tid bits of info......If you want more info ( just out of curiosity of course) you'll have to pay for that......

I ran my mom through and sadly I had to inform her that she needs to be on lock down, she's like a fly surrounded by many spiders.....

There weren't that many Listed & i know that there are more than just what they had.

We have looked at something like your link through the local police website and found out that there was a string of car break-ins in our neighborhood. The days of being too lazy to put the car in the garage are over!

It's definitely nice to know those kind of things!

it only showed me sex offenders in the area, which I already find on megans law. How do you see other stuff?
I wish I could find the creep that broke into the rental car I had.

I checked out neighborhoods that way when were buying our house. The one house I wanted was right next to a serious sex offender...so no ! So we decided to buy a new house , in a new neighborhood.....and wouldn't you know a year later we get a call that one has moved into the adjoining neighborhood

( we are signed up to get a call when a sex offender/ predator moves into our area.) I like the registry's , I can see the photos so I know who shouldn't be around my house.

You want to think no one like that could live around you , but these days you have to check everything

LOL, the one offender in my neighborhood was a woman a few blocks away who was going 65 in a 40. Better watch out for her.

I agree the photos are a big help.....Check out this lovely fella that lives nearby....and yes, it's a real pic.....

Those sites are sooooo innacurate. The SO registry is probably the most accurate, but nowhere NEAR 100%. Probably more like 60%. Can't ever be too sure these days about anything really.

I don't think it's accurate. There is someone listed on my street that moved away 10 years ago!

I'm surrounded by people with Traffic/other violations.

Doesn't surprise me. The cops in this town are very impressed with their own power, to put it lightly.

EDIT:

There is however someone on my very street who has "indagered welfare of child" and "child abuse." that makes me sad.
