![]() So we got pepper about few months ago and she never, ever barked until recently. We took care of a friend's cat a couple weeks ago for a few days and every time the cat made a noise in the night pepper would jump out of bed and howl and bark until one of us got up to check it out with her. Assuming it was because she was stressed out by the cat, we thought it would go away after the cat left... but it hasn't. At random times in the night she starts barking at nothing! I started to gently hold her snout and say "No!" which still works every time but now she has started to jump off the bed and run away from barking as much as she can before I can catch her and tell her to stop. I don't know what to do to fix this.. I am losing sleep and I just want her to go back to normal. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

| ![]() I have to put a gate up so they can't get out to the front room window cause they would bark all nite. I run the ceiling fan to try to prevent them from hearing sounds through the nite. Good Luck, it's so frustrating when you can't get good sleep. Hopefully you will find a solution!

![]() Pepper woke me up this morning barking exactly 15 minutes before I had to be at school for a really important math test! She was more persistent and loud than she has ever been! She howled for the first time ever... So maybe I should just deal with it because it is a blessing in disguise! That test was basically worth my whole grade in the class and I fell asleep studying and never turned on the alarm. My dog is the best and I don't think she even knows why! AND Thanks Paula.. I hope so too... Very cute dogs in the pic. Last edited by pepper87; 09-24-2008 at 02:59 PM.

![]() Hello, my yorkie girl is 1 year and 6 months old. She barks a lot, but only when I left home and she stay alone at home. She starts barking, like she would lose her mind. It is very uncomfortable for me and my neighbours-I am living in an appartment. Do anyone know some Antibarking Collar? Can someone recommed me some please??? Please help me....does anyone now this product (see the picture in attachment)?? Will this help me or not??? I really donīt know what to do anymore...I took 7 days off in my job to learn here not to bark, but nothing helped me ![]() Description of the collar which i would like to buy on EBAY: *The Shock Control Collar is an advanced behaviour modification device designed to help to train your dog to stop barking. *Built to Last-No matter if you find your dog cooling off in a lake, swimming in a pool or simply taking a nice drink, the Shock Control Collar with waterproof design is built to stand the toughest abuse. *With Bark Stop Technology, your dog will not only stop barking almost immediately and you will not have to worry about the device becoming damaged because of a little or allot of water. *This is the world's first fully water proof bark control products available. Features: Train your dog to stop barking. Ultrasonic and audible mode selections. Audible: creats harsh buzz to stop barking. High and low modes ( high for big dogs, low for small dogs) Dogs quickly learn that their barking causes this irritating sound and stop barking to stop the noise. Ultrasonic: works by sending out an ultrasonic signal that only dogs can hear when activated by the barking. The ultrasonic sound is 100% harmless. LED indicator on the front : The red LED indicator will light when the unit is activated. This will help in making sure the unit is working even in ultrasonic mode Adjustable stretch collar to fit different sizes. Trigger accurately by bark vibration (can not activate by other dogs barking) ON / OFF buttons. High / Low volume buttons. Powered by 2 AG10 cell batteries (included). Or should I buy some other product? What will really help??? Thanky you a lot in advance!

![]() Hi, Sad to say that I'm there too. Lily barked four times last night for 15-30 minutes each time, and no we are not rewarding her by getting her. I did take her straight out to potty once and right back in. I used an antibarking collar for about 2 months on my last dog (who I also loved immensely) and it stopped her obnoxious barking for the next 9 years. She just passed in July. I need help with this too. What is the ebay site. I want to go have a look and I would love to hear more comments. ![]()

![]() Hanika, Sorry - that is the problem. I had a standard poodle before and the antibarking collar was one Petsmart sold. It was huge though and no way would work for a yorkie. That is why I too would like an answer here. We have just put a big fan in the kitchen and will run it tonight to see if it covers the small squeaks of the house that set Lily barking like a banshee. I also just have her a 9.30 half hour walk. Prayers for the night of sleep I need.
