| ![]() Daisy was on Eukanuba when we got her. Then I saw the Eukanuba Yorkshire Terrier and got that for her instead. Total marketing strategy as I only got it because I thought it was the best since it was designed for yorkies. I have read and learned alot from other yters here and one thing I learned was Eukanuba was simply not the best for my Daisy. I'm not an expert but it is full of "fillers" and byproducts...I'll let someone else explain this. I have since put her on Canidae and she loves it.

| ![]() Corn is very hard for dogs to digest, and Brewer's rice is a cheap byproduct. It also has beet pulp. Please see here for some details about that... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ml#post2079996 Geez, lots of questions about food today! |

| ![]() lol.. it's too bad that the adds on this site do not reflect the general consensus on what GOOD food is. I am pretty sure that admin does not endorse any adds on this site they just appear. I woudl stay clear of any food that can be bought at Petsmart or the grocery store. |

| ![]() I order all mine. We don't live all that far out of town, but I don't like any of the foods the stores around here carry, so I order food when I'm running low. |

As far as the Eukanuba YT...I really didn't find it to be anymore beneficial or specially blended for Yorkies than any of their other lines of food. I do use Eukanuba as one of several commercial brands that I implement into the diet of my pooches and have no complaints. But, just because it seems to be a good fit for mine, doesn't mean it will be a good fit for the next dog that comes along. | |

| ![]() I completely agree with the above post. It is very important to feed high quality food to your yorkie, and more importantly it's extremely important to feed a higher quality of food when your yorkie is growing. ![]() |
