![]() My puppy is currently 13 weeks old today. Making me worry because his teeth havent come out yet. Especially his front teeth at the top and bottom. His back teeth are almost all the way there. He is very healthy and active puppy. Should I worry, or is he just a late bloomer.

![]() Let me rephrase the previous post...this is not a matter of loosing his baby teeth....this is his actual baby teeth. He hasnt had any teeth before. Right now he has no front teeth on top or bottom.

| ![]() Your 13 week old has no teeth? They are supposed to be born with teeth!! I would ask your vet, didn't your vet say anything when you took him for his puppy check up?

![]() I've had some pups whose front teeth came in late, like around 8 to 9 weeks. Is this a very small pup? Can you feel anything trying to break through the gums? I've never seen one go that long but my smaller babies are the ones whose teeth come in more slowly. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() yeah they are trying to come through i can feel them and see the white beneath the gums...i pretty sure they dont come with teeth. I got him when he was 8 weeks old. The vet says he is late with getting his teeth. He isnt a big boy but not tiny either he was 505grams(about a 1lbs) two weeks ago. But he isnt big either. I guess he is big for a pup in the states but we live in South Korea. They tend to like tiny dogs here. As i stated its just his fangs and the front teeth that are not out yet.

![]() My Tinkerbell is 16 weeks old. Her bottom row of teeth (the middle five or so) are barely showing. She was at the vet a week ago and I asked about it. The vet said that it is very common in Yorkies, especially the tiny ones, for them to develop much more slowly than the average puppy. Tinker is 22oz at 16 weeks, so I guess she currently qualifies as a tiny girl. Although, with the amount of food that she consumed today, I feel a growth spurt coming. So, according to my vet, there is nothing to worry about. I hope she is right. HTH, Wendi and Tinkerbell
